School Uniform
We are very proud of our Grange Park green uniform. Find out what we wear at Grange Park each day, what we wear for PE and what our tiniest pupils in EYFS wear to help them to join in with our active curriculum. Also, this is the place to peruse if you would like to know where to order uniform should you wish to order uniform with our logo or if you would like to take advantage of our second-hand uniform store which is full of high-quality, pre-loved garments.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
- Grey skirt or pinafore dress
- Grey or black trousers
- White blouse or polo shirt
- White polo shirt
- Green and white checked dress/grey shorts
- Bottle green cardigan, jumper or hoodie (school logo optional)
- Tights: bottle green, grey or black
- Grey or black leggings can be worn under a skirt
- Black flat school shoes (no trainers)- no fur boots or shoes with coloured laces or stripes
- Appropriately sized school bag/rucksack of any brand
EYFS (Nursery and Reception Classes)
- Black joggers
- White or bottle green polo shirt
- Bottle green pullover/sweatshirt or hoodie
- Black school shoes- no trainers. Shoes must be completely black- no coloured laces or soles
PRE-LOVED UNIFORM
Remember, we also run our Uniform Swap Shop. If your child has outgrown their uniform and it is still in good condition, you can donate it to school. We also provide second hand uniform to parents on request. Please ask at the school office to speak with our Community Manager, Mrs A Boulton, if you need any pieces of uniform.
P.E. KITS
From September, children will need the following PE kit;
- Plain white t-shirt
- Plain black shorts or joggers
- Plain black hoody or sweatshirt (A school version of this is available but not necessary)
- Pair of plain trainers.
LOST PROPERTY
Please label all coats, uniform and P.E kits with your child's name. This way, we can easily find any misplaced clothing and get it straight back to you!
EXTREME WEATHER
Children should dress appropriately for extreme weather conditions. In the summer it is vital that children have a protective sun hat or cap. Sun cream should be applied to children before they arrive at school on hot summer days. Boots and sufficiently warm waterproof coats should be provided in extremely wet or snowy weather

Health and Safety
- Shoulder length hair and longer must be tied back at all times in line with our school’s policy.
- Partial and whole head hair colourants are not acceptable.
- Extreme hair styles, this includes shapes and lines shaved into a style, are not permitted.
- Nail varnish is permitted in school.
- Children who do not come to school in appropriate footwear i.e. black flat school shoes, no boots, will be given a pair of black plimsols to wear for the day.
- Jewellery is not permitted, with the exception of a single plain stud earring. If your child wears earrings to school then you must complete an earring indemnification form and return to school.
Trainers
Although trainers are not part of our everyday school uniform at Grange Park, we ask that a pair of trainers is sent to school to keep in the pupils' lockers. This is so that pupils can access our wide range of playtime and lunchtime activities and sports should they wish to join in. We aim to use our MUGA and field except in severe weather conditions so it helps to have a spare pair of trainers to change into.

We ask that all parents support our effort to make all aspects of our school outstanding and we believe, as far as possible, a strict adherence to our uniform policy helps.
